Claire is the heir to the Council seat and has been kidnapped by the Guard who is a rebellion organization for shifters who do not want to follow the rules. They want to make their own rules. Nikolai used to be a part of the Guard but fell for Claire and broke away and is now on the run.

 I have to say this book was very good at keeping me captive. I loved watching the relationship develop between Claire and Nikolai. This book has a lot of action, romance and some mystery. I truly love this series by Zoe Ashwood. She does a wonderful job of world and character building. I also like that you get to still see characters from other books in the series in this book. Ms Ashwood is a great writer in that she can make the story flow and you do not have to go back to make sure you read what you just read, or make you stumble as you read. She is definitely an author I will be following from now on and I am looking forward to seeing her next book in the series come out.

I found Dannika Dark by doing searches through Amazon when I got my Kindle years ago. It was a bit different of a story than I usually read but figured I would try it. I have to say I am glad I did. I have read all books in this series and I have to say Gravity has been the best so far! It is gripping, emotional, and at times you want to jump up and down in your chair pumping your fist and screaming WHOOO HOOO!! At others you want to grab those tissues and ball your eyes out! There was not a moment in this book where I skipped through due to non ending detail or non gripping reading. She keeps you glued into the book at every page turn and you just don't want to put it down. This book answers a some questions from the previous 3 books in the series so be sure to read all the previous books first! Savage Secrets by Cristin Harber

Complimentary copy provided by author/publisher for an honest review Once again Cristin Harber did a bang up job on this book. I have read every book in this series and once again am not disappointed. I love the interaction between Rocco and Caterina. I love the back and forth with their relationship. I also love the humor that is put into the story. At times its subtle and others I laugh out loud. I also find myself loving the action and suspense of the story. And lets not forget the steamy love scenes. Cristin Harber is a great author who manages to write a book and a series that you begin reading and just have to continue on to see what will happen next. Each book can technically be read as a stand alone but they are definitely better read and followed reading in order. That is another thing I love about her writing. Damon (The Protectors Series) Book #1 by Teresa Gabelman

This book started out strong and continued on strong. It has a lot of action while not being overpowering on the action. I liked that the main female character was strong and not a wimp or whiny. Surprisingly, while the male lead character Damon was strong and down right sexy, I was actually rooting for Nichole to go with a secondary character Jared. The romance of the book was actually nice and not overpowering and did not leave you feeling like it was fake. I felt that the author has a good writing style. She was descriptive by not overly so. This was yet another book that I did not have to skip through to avoid boredom and did not have to go back to remind myself what someone looked like or who they were. The only real complaint I had was that the end of the book seemed a little rushed. I think the author could have extended the ending a bit and it would have flowed better. But other than that a GREAT book I would definitely recommend to read! I look forward to reading the next book
