It has been a crazy couple of months.  I started this blog with full intentions of being crazy active with it.  Unfortunately, life happened.  Kids, jobs, home...it all got crazy busy and I did not seem to have any free time!  But I am back and plan to be a huge ton more active.  I always seem to read more during the fall and winter! And with that being said, I am currently in the middle of reading an awesome book that has suspense and humor and action.  There is even some romance thrown in.  I will be reviewing it within the next couple of days so keep checking back for an update. Who Boy!!! Sits Here Fanning Herself! After reading and loving Ms Carter's first book in this series Perfect Mate, I was VERY excited to read this second book in the series Blood Mate. Man, it was definitely worth the wait!! This book carries on from the first one with Darce and Toni. Darce is a werewolf and Antonia (toni) is a Blood (Vampire). It was VERY gripping. I loved that this book had tons of action and suspense. It made me sit on the edge of my seat through most of it. I love those kinds of books! It also had a lot of romance. Now the romance was intense to an extent but surprisingly it was not overwhelming. There were many times you would get one or the other's thoughts on the relationship but due to the story, well...read it and find out!! I don't want to give out spoilers. I have read every book in this series and once again am not disappointed. I love the interaction between Rocco and Caterina. I love the back and forth with their relationship. I also love the humor that is put into the story. At times its subtle and others I laugh out loud. I also find myself loving the action and suspense of the story. And lets not forget the steamy love scenes. Cristin Harber is a great author who manages to write a book and a series that you begin reading and just have to continue on to see what will happen next. Each book can technically be read as a stand alone but they are definitely better read and followed reading in order. That is another thing I love about her writing.
